Barcode Picture...Help!
I need a CLEAR, somewhat larger photograph of the barcode featured in the "MYBBT" album? I'm looking to get a tattoo done, so I need it as clear as possible for stenciling. If anybody can help me out in the matter, I'd love you to death! Thank you much!

tattoo? wow, could be cool but is it a random barcode on the ablum?

Elizabeth- 02-17-2007

The one Gregg has on his hand would be ideal. I have one fairly good picture that's okay...but not perfectly straight. :( If anything, I can always teak it a bit, I guess. But I'd prefer to find a perfect picture. Ay, Tattoos make me excited! :P

Mmm, good luck with getting a barcode tattoo. There's two of us here who tried that and got told "No way" Apparently after about ten years all the lines run into each other and you get left with a black smudge. :(

Problem is that Gregg uses several versions throughout, I'm sure we posted about it a while back. The one on his hand doesn't match the one on his forehead and so on. On two euro releases it's in blue and black, well the numbers at least. Anyway have you checked the boxset booklet scans? The tattoo as far as we know was never really on him, but put in by the design studio hired to design the album, although it was Gregg's idea. Did you know about the hidden mirror thing with the CD? :?

OH, DUH! Blonde Moment! How could I forget the one in the booklet?! It's been forever since I've even opened my booklet for fear of having it ruined. I keep it stored away nice and packaged -- away from a 3-year-old Crayola Picasso! LOL  Thanks for that advice. :D About the lines running together...hmmm...could be. I'll have to have a chat with my tattoo artist. He's an award-winning artist that did a few celebrities (none important, in my mind, to list...old people music...LOL  ). But I have 4 other very discete tattoos that after 5 years still look great. So, we'll see! I'll keep you informed. Thanks for all the great advice, everyone. :)

Hey you don't happen to know his make of shoe do you?

Elizabeth- 02-17-2007

I was just reading your post the other day about the make of his shoe. At first glance, I thought they kind of resemble skate-boarding shoes. I didn't look into it much further than that though. I'll look into it tonight when I get home. But you know, Gregg, being such a non-conformist...Maybe he just bought some shoes at the local Wal-Mart instead of keeping up with the brands! Seems his style! And he looks damn good doing it too! LOL  But like I said, I'll check it out tonight. :D

HIDDEN MIRROR THING? Ooooh, do tell?! I'm starved for new info.

Titan- 02-18-2007

Get your MYBBT CD and stare into it and seeing your reflection read the title and look at the arrow pointing at the word you and you. I happened to come across that by total accident while cleaning mine, then later had the theory totally confirmed by the MYBBT CD design studio's project info. Most people just see a plain silver disk with the album title and that's it. Funny too that directly behind this "mirror" is a mirrored image of Gregg, maybe another cryptic message. :)

Elizabeth- 02-18-2007

Oh, my gosh! It's so obvious, yet I didn't get it right away at all! I've had this disc for years and the "mirror thing" never occured to me to be more than just a cool design for a CD. Thanks! :D

Elizabeth- 03-14-2007

Okay, so I met with my artist yesterday. You guys were 100% right, without a doubt about the barcode smudging together after about 10-15 years. He said the only way he could do it to prevent that would be to have the barcode be about 3x5 inches...which I'm not prepared to do...LOL  That's HUGE! So, I made my appointment for May to get my "Virgen de Guadalupe" tattoo done instead as my other option...wish me luck! Thanks for the help, guys! :D

I don't get it What part? :? Just get your NR CD, open it and look at the disk (logo side) and look at your reflection in it... Reading the phrase, note the arrow pointing to the word "you"... Note the actual "you" (yourself in the reflection). This directly ties you personally to the title and message of the CD. It's like Gregg's personally speaking to you and pointing to you while he's saying it. Maybe You've Been Brainwashed Too. It's not just a title, but a clever personalized message. Removing the disk from the case, you'll see Gregg's double image in the CD tray. :)

Elizabeth- 05-17-2007

Okay, you guys. So, I took your advice and didn't get the NR barcode tattoo done. My husband suggested getting a huge pair of feet (like Gregg's on the album cover), but I thought that was just too weird and would raise too many questions. So, take a look at what I decided to get done. Since you all practically feel like family to me now, I thought I'd show you. It's posted on my MySpace. Feedback welcome. http://viewmorepics.myspace.com/index.cfm?fuseaction=viewImage&friendID=52583028&albumID=0&imageID=7684523 Oh, you may need to sign in to see that link. LOL
