Ok... well perhaps I should add the words "I asked" in front of the thread title... and the words "But she said no" after it :( I just thought it was cool that I managed to get in touch with her and see if she'd record some vocals for me!!

What was the reason she turned you down?

Well... what she said was this... I had sent her an mp3 of an instrumental track and said she could mess around with it however she wanted (vacally), and she replied that 'that's not the way she works'...

I'm also going to guess she probably knew she wouldn't get paid unless you somehow were successful. I have to ask, your timeline isn't falling into place. Myspace isn't all that old and you made it sound like you asked her a long time ago. My guess is you asked her pretty recently about this am I right? You're obviously kind of young and I have to admit if this is true, I admire your forwardness to approach an established person in the business to be a part of your project. I think that's pretty cool.

Does anyone know how to contact her and Gregg? Should I send the letter attention to the New Radical label? Thank you very much Oh and no mySpace please ;).
