Danielle was there again this week... right next to Carly's hubby. Carly was very solid doing Blackbird.

Can I vote for her instead of everyone else? I also wonder why they don't at least introduce her at least once. Its not like she is a stranger to the American public, she is a celebrity in her own right. I'm sure everyone would like to see little Stephanie all grown up and also the writer of one of the most played songs of the last 2 years. They think nothing of like introducing a janitor on the set.

Best not to, having big guns as friends might have a negative effect on her chances.

I was thinking that after I wrote it. Undue influence I guess.

Where we see it as a total positive, others look at her past as an unfair negative. Just one of them things. Silly really considering if her past and connections were that much of an advantage as they think, then why is she a barmaid. Petty jealousies blind the obvious. Anyway what counts is we know who's who and what's what, and the rest of the world is playing catchup. :) Hey, just been over the the AI site and saw this posted in her profile: If you could sing/perform in any venue, where would you perform? Wemberley, England. Obviously they spelled it as she pronounced it, big mistake and no one bothered to check. :lol:

Right Like we all reinforced from the start that we are for Carly succeeding but many feel she already had a shot at this. By breaking out a big name it will show that she has been IN this business for awhile. Still seeing Danielle getting some recognition would be cool.

I would have loved seeing a caption reading Danielle Brisebois instead of just Carly's Friends. Strangely though, I'm amazed they didn't mention it, surely they'd have known who she was. :?

Who knows maybe before the end they will mention her. But with Carly basically put on notice this week she can't be feeling comfortable. I was absolutely shocked to hear her mentioned in the bottom 3.

I'm quite sure they don't want to draw any more attention than necessary to the whole thing. They've had their share of controversy over the years.
