Thanks for that link, Titan. I'm going to need some new luggage tags for my bags when I head back to Mexico this July! I'll be stylin', sporting my pink and black suitcases with NR tags! ¿México? ¿Puedo ir contigo? :? Pablo

Si, voy a Mexico para visitar a mis suegros. Como vez?

Italian will be the official language in this forum!!! let's learn Italian! (actually i do know an Italian who live in Beijing, his Chinese is awesome, no difference to native speakers, not almost, i mean "no difference" ) Hm, my Italian is pretty bad  plus you can teach us Chinese :D, right? Pablo if you ignore chinese characters at the beginning, it's easy... but when come to characters, maybe hard. Well, still worth trying, since in Japanese there are also frequently used 2900 kanji (we call hanzi) if you choose to learn seriously you couldn't skip it. Kanji and Hanzi have almost the same meaning, only different pronunciation  I heard Italian has very complicated grammar, is that true?

is there any French member in this forum? seems French concern in their own music?

Fritz- 05-12-2007

seems French concern in their own music? Well, they kinda have to. In France they have to play a certain percentage of French songs on the radio (at least they had it the last time I was there, not sure if they changed it since). From what I remember that quota was relatively high...

I heard Italian has very complicated grammar, is that true? It is just similar to Spanish, French or Portuguese, each subject has it's own form, so for example I, you, he/she/it, we, you all, they those are all different conjugation forms. In English the conjugations are very easy because they are almost the same, well in Spanish and Italian, there are all types of those forms :(. It can be crazy, but it was easy for me. I forget a lot of the vocabulary in Italian, mi dispiace, lo siento (I'm sorry)

Anch'io sono italiano (un po'). Che pezzetto? :D Sì, è como sai l'italiano? Da bambino parlavi o che? :) Pablo Da piccolo.

With regards to Italian grammar, my father says that it's taken a total dive since his school days. Italian TV being a major culprit with the encroachment and overuse of English terms and phrases at the hands of uneducated idiot presenters and show writers. The French have a great policy, it sickens me to watch a language erode and die for no other reason than the vanity of pompous overrated z-listers showing off. It's sad really. The French are in fear of losing their cultural identity and I can understand it totally from experience, both as an Italian and as an Englishman. Daily you wonder where it's all gone and before you know it there's nothing left at all. :? Don't get me started on fields.

Elizabeth- 05-13-2007

Yes, I am, Marisa. Toluca is home, sweet, home. I love to be in Mexico as much as possible. It's sooooo mellow compared to the states -- less drama, the people aren't so superficial, life in general is just mellow, etc. And I get to feel like Madonna, being the only blond chic in town! Marisa, you should visit Toluca! It's great! :D
