I am in love with Kelly and would consider a love affair with her should she be interested.
However I have T-shirts and kids older than Kelly.
I actually like Kelly's version, but it's not quite as good as Danielle's. Danielle really helped her out by singing backup on the track. Full and rich sounding.
I don't think I've heard it :? I'm sure it's good though, Kelly's a great singer.
Danielle is winningg!
come on ppl, vote! :)
It's not that bad, but i prefer danielle's song
Don't kill me, Dave =(
Oh don't get me wrong, I think Danielle is excellent and adorable too. Its a tough call!
What about all the other versions by Trine Rein, Maarja, Carly Hennessy,...
What about all the other versions by Trine Rein, Maarja, Carly Hennessy,...
I don't know how many people have heard Trine Rein's & Maarja's versions. They are ok in that each of them CAN sing, but they don't compare.
Carly has a gorgeous voice with great range, and again Danielle provided backup vocals, but it lacks the emotion of Danielle's versions. I did like how the end of the song contained elements of both of Danielle's versions.
Of course, these are just my humble opinions.
i had to go find a copy of kellys version of the song before i could make a decision, so i found it on youtube. my thoughts are that it sounds too much like a rock song, so i dont think its as good, im not familiar with her, and never watched american idol, but thats what i think about her version.
danielles sounds sweet and sad and emotional, like it should.
the song just doesnt fit with loud electric guitars, wailing, and drums, its supposed to be sad, not upbeat.
kelly sounds like shes shouting at you like "HEY! ROLL OVER BABY, AND GET YOUR ASS OUT OF HERE, IM GONNA MAKE A LITTLE MORE ROOM"
whereas danielles lines sound more natural
Cool so this is the same song on Carly Hennesy's CD :). Now I will have to find the Kelly CD so I can listen to her version. Have a nice day.

Yes, there've been a whole bunch of version of that. Danielle did it three times (once on each album, and as an acoustic version as a B-side), it's also been done by Kelly Clarkson, Carly Hennessy, Trine Rein, Maarja, and the London Symphony Orchestra.
I thought Carly's was better than Kelly's by a mile and a trip around the 7-Eleven. :)
