Hey, welcome to the forum
I have seven of the songs you're talking about. However, I'm missing two of them
5.-Cold Rock A Party (I didn't know about this one )
7.-You Get What You Give (House of Blues)
My body and soul will be empty untill I get them (hehe..)
Moreover there are other live performances of YGWYG:
-You Get What You Give @ Wold Cafe
-You Get What You Give @ KBCO
-You Get What You Give @ Tonight Show

Cold Rock A Party is the intro to I Don't Wanna Die Anymore in that performance.
You Get What You Give was hard to get and is an imperfect recording. Definitely not their best version of that song, if you know what I mean.

I used to have a New Radicals bootleg that had them covering the Prince song 1999 on it. Does anyone know where that was from? I lost it when I moved long, long ago.

No big deal to me, I was just curious as to when the recording was. I don't care for bootlegs.

I actually saw a band performing a cover of Prince's "1999" at a New Years Party for 1999 on MTV, all that I remember is that the guy was bald. That may be the bootleg you have Ethan

I thought I'd include this in here rather than starting a whole new "New Radicals Live" topic. It's short but kinda sweet :) .

Teen's poetry earns her choice seats at big concert

Everything was just right for Megan Sink's first concert: Admission was free; the weather was good; and she had a stage-side seat.
Megan, a 13-year-old seventh-grader at North Augusta Middle School, won Xtreme's First Concert Contest. She got two tickets -- one for herself and one for her dad, Don -- to the New Radicals/Goo Goo Dolls concert Saturday at Fort Gordon's Barton Field.
Going into the concert, she said she was most excited about seeing New Radicals perform their hit You Get What You Give. They're her favorite band, and it's her favorite song. She got their CD for her birthday Feb. 14 and has listened to it almost
constantly ever since.
But mostly, she was just excited to be there.
With opening act Impulse Ride scheduled to begin at 7 p.m., Megan began checking her watch every few minutes, starting about 6:40.
Johnny Rzeznik leads the Goo Goo Dolls through their set. art head: A night of music MICHAEL HOLAHAN/STAFF
``What time do you have, Dad?'' she would ask, comparing her watch with his. Hers was two minutes faster, and it's set to the bells at her school, so she decided to go by hers.
As the moment drew closer, the excitement grew. The crowd screamed every time someone walked onstage to move an amp or check an electrical cord. Megan began to crane her neck to see the stage better, tapping her feet nervously on the grass.
And right on time, the opening band hit the stage.
Standing in her chair to get a better view, Megan danced and screamed along with the rest of the 10,000 concertgoers. But the real excitement came when the drumbeats of You Get What You Give signaled the arrival of New Radicals. Just as she -- and the rest of the crowd -- began to sing along with the familiar tune, the band stopped.
``Gotcha!'' said lead singer Gregg Alexander.
But she could wait for her favorite song. She knew the words to all the others and mouthed them as she danced in her chair in the evening breeze.
And when they did finally play her favorite song -- after teasing the crowd with it a second time -- Megan's eyes lighted up.
``I liked how they'd start to play it, then stop, kind of messing with the crowd,'' she said. ``It was funny. They knew that's the one everyone really wanted to hear.''
She also enjoyed the Goo Goo Dolls. She knew their music from radio and sang along to such hits as Name, Slide, Dizzy and Iris.
After the band bid the crowd goodnight, Megan said, she was surprised to see the group come back for an encore. ``That was cool -- they said it was over, but then they came back and sang more,'' she said.
All in all, Megan said the concert was ``awesome'' -- and she's glad she has the week off from school to recover her hearing.
I wish I'd been there
The source is: http://chronicle.augusta.com/ Search: Gregg Alexander then select year 1999 for a couple of other bits of info.

Same here, them playing around like that with the crowd would have been so cool. This is the very reason I love live recordings so much, no matter how bad a band may play or not, each event is so different and special to the next. 8)
