Ronan on track 12 and Greg(g?!)
"Track-By-Track: Track 12 Greg Alexander and I have a very special working relationship. He's completely nuts but I love him for that. We wrote this along with my keyboard player, James McNally, in my studio, at my place in Ireland. Every time I work with Greg, I end up with loads of great stories and also some stunning songs. I know we'll write more and more over the coming years and I hope that we manage to come up with more songs like this... we just need time, babe!" He loves him so much he only uses one song and can't spell his name? What a gobshite. 8roll

The songs sucked, but they took a break. Maybe he's trying to be less dependent on Gregg and spread his wings a little. Still spelling wrong the name of someone who supposedly means so much to you is a huge insult!

The last time he he did that his album sucked and it was a total flop. I wonder how long they'll go before they pull it and release another compilation. What's the bet they've got a covers cd ready in the wings. Anyway one cover per new cd is fine, but two, you have to start asking questions. Then add to that using his old songs as single fillers, not even remixed. You've got to be heading for a crash. Hopefully he'll learn from it, because those two covers ain't going bring in the money, considering you have to pay out to use them. What is he trying to aim for now, girl band status where every single is a cover? Seriously if he really wanted to waste space with covers at the cost of two further potential hits, he should have used those as B-sides not the other way round. Whoever planned this album was a total dumbass. If I've learned anything from this is that Ronan is a damn liar, he said he was going to cover NR, he never did. He now says all this shit about Greg(g) being this and that to him and yet only uses one of his tracks? Now that to me is a total gobshite if ever there was one. Then again, we shouldn't be surprised if you think back to his origins, he couldn't even sing or dance when he started. Anyone that's seen his first ever TV show will know what I mean (The Late Late Show http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hr2ZKhV6eKc&search=boyzone ). I actually saw that show when it originally aired, it used to be on almost everyday here. Man I just wonder what Gregg treasures were dropped for some of the crap that's now on there. 8unsure

You're right that you have to wonder what was discarded. It kills to think there is Gregg work ready and able to be used and enjoyed that is sitting around someplace. My feeling on covers is that if your gonna do one, do one. If your gonna do two, make a whole disc of them, because sooner or later your gonna get on people's nerves with them. This way, if there is a whole disc of covers, we'll already know its gonna suck and we won't buy it.

It'll be interesting to see what he does during his live set this tour, if he covers NR there like he did with SWK. 8unsure
