She sings, she acts, she can host shows and she isn't afraid to try new venues for herself.
She isn't the typical showbiz trash as you pointed out.
However her SWK performance was awful.

you know, im having trouble to find out what I really think of her (i admitt what i said was a little exaggerated)
what i meant is that she doesn't seem to produce anything of her own, she just seems like the typical who does whatever her manager & her think is good/are told to do.
we need more real mandy
ps. i know im no one to say that though, i like some artists whose music I cant understand :(, and I'm into chinese boy-bands. (stop laughing!)

I think that really only applies to her early music, where she seemed like another Britney clone. She has since distanced herself from those early albums, and apparently feels very different about her la-*test*-('") album, on which (for the first time) she co-wrote every song.
