My brother had a fake band for years. They carried the joke out for so long that they actually wound up HAVING to perform. :lol:
They recorded a few discs they passed out amongst people...the songs were really good. Funny too.
They'd make occasional appearances at this one bar and had a farewell performance at my brother's wedding where all members of their "entourage" came on stage and we sang Earth, Wind and Fire's "September" and Average White Bands "Work to Do".
Fake bands are great! Ask the Monkees!
