Weezer's "The World We Love So Much" cover
Well, we already know Gregg had a huge impact on Weezer (in Rolling Stone's 1st Digital Edition frontman Rivers Cuomo is quoted as saying about Michigan Rain "That album totally blew me away - it was a big inspiration for me to pick up an acoustic guitar and start writing my own songs"). And we know they recorded a cover of "The World We Love So Much" on some demo tape waaay back (can't find the thread right now, must've been on the old board). Anyway, now for the good news: Their cover will be released on Alone - The Home Recordings of Rivers Cuomo on December 17! :o
