What do you do?
So, what do you do for a living? I am just curious, let's chat! :D

I'm on my last semester of HS, but I'm already taking classes in uni :) what about you?

Elizabeth- 03-02-2007

Currently, I'm permanently laid-off. A bigger company came along and bought out our section of the hospital where I was working as a CNA, so I'm currently jobless...and enjoying it! Also, going to school for my nursing degree.

Ay, eres muy lista en tus estudios! Felicidades! Muy bien dicho :). I want to be a teacher, I think, but I am not completely done yet. I do odds and ends like mystery shopping, and surveys. Have a nice day. Pablo

CNA work is very rewarding in a non-tangible way...but financially, it's OKAY (less than great!) BUT it's not something I want to do forever. It's back-breaking labor! Thank God, I'll be done with nursing school in only 2 more short years...hopefully. *fingers crossed* Wow, Dave, we have a lot more in common than I thought! :)

But its a great building block to the future. Without being a CNA at one time, I wouldn't be where I am now. Stick to nursing school...it'll be worth it in the end. I got to teach nurses when I was working in the hospital. Most didn't know how to give basic care! I had 12 nursing for a summer semester for 3 years every summer. It was always fun and some of them were pretty cute. I was young then!
